the "WRS2025 Harsh Environment F-REI Challenge"
and to ensure the success of the competition.

Overview

  • Harsh Environment Drone Challenge (HEDC)
  • Plant Disaster Challenge
  • Simulation Disaster Challenge
  • Standard Disaster Robotics Drone Challenge

The purpose of this competition is to develop robots and drones
that can work under harsh conditions in the event of a large-scale disaster,
and develop technology to prevent plant and tunnel disasters,
and to respond effectively during a disaster.

Call for Participating Teams

One of the four challenges to be held in Fukushima:
the Harsh Environment Drone Challenge will be
a "pre-tournament event" and teams are invited to participate.

shown in “Section1 Application Guidelines.”

  • * Please look thorough Application Guidelines and Application Materials carefully. If there is any deficiency in your application form for the competition, your application will not be acceptable.
  • * If the Secretariat receive your application e-mail, the Secretariat will sent the application confirmation notice.
  • * If you cannot meet the deadline, your application will not be acceptable.

The World Robot Summit Secretariat and the HEDC Competition Committee are managed by THE NIKKAN KOGYO SHIMBUN, an Entrustment from the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation (F-REI).
